Feel Energetic TATRAS

For Autumn/Winter 2019 Luxury outerwear brand TATRAS called upon a time when fashion campaigns featured true fashion “Influencers” and Icons, a time when the Darlings and Degenerates mixed, mingled and made fashion history.

Turning their back on “talent” whose Instagram followers total more than the hours these “influencers” have actually worked in the industry, the Japanese-based, Milan-distributed Luxury brand retained Kelly Cutrone/ People’s Revolution to produce the campaign. Cutrone decided to make a statement that was as authentic, trouble-making, and artistically driven as the team and talent that created the campaign.

“I am tired of the ridiculous misuse of the term “Influencer.” Tell me how do young Influencers in the fashion world come from Milwaukee? I thought it was time to feature true influencers, so we put together a dream team in front of and behind the camera.

From Icons to Next-Gen, Up-and-Comers, the campaign was shot in New York by photographer Francesco Carrozzini, styled by Joanne Blades, hair by Ward and makeup by Kabuki.

The campaign features Super Model Duckie Thot, stylist and Fashion Icon Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Eugene Hutz, the lead singer of Gogol Bordello, and the A$AP Mob’s ultimate Trap Lord hype man and recording artist Marty Baller, while shining light on emerging stars like Model Ella Richards - granddaughter of Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg, and 18 year-old Caleb Altice from the Atlanta suburbs who has recently walked the runways of Hermes, Balmain and Off-White.

Founded in Tokyo in 2006 by renowned Japanese Entrepreneur and luxury brand disruptor Masanaka Sakao, TATRAS has quickly taken the outerwear luxury sector by storm. Within a decade, the brand that set out to turn stodgy old-school European outerwear brands upside down has established a formidable distribution network and celebrity presence. TATRAS prides itself on state of the art tech fabrics, cutting edge design and unparalleled collaborations with some of the world's most interesting people including Chloe Sevigny, Luka Sabbat, Steve Aoki, Duckie Thot, Olympic Gold Medalist Louie Vito, Eugene Hutz, Carylne Cerf, Marty Baller, Ella Richards, Professional Snowboarder Louie Vito, and Professional Skateboarders Braydon Szafranski, Steve Berra, and Karen Jonz.
