The Way of the Sea - Spring/Summer 2027 Paris Presentation

On June 24, 2026, amid the rising heat of early summer in Paris, TATRAS presented its Spring/Summer 2027 Collection, titled “The Way of the Sea.”

The presentation took place in Les Halles, a central district at the heart of Parisian daily life. Extending the collection’s central narrative into the physical environment, the immersive installation brought to life the forces that shape the sea and the way materials respond to them over time.

Tension in Space

The installation focused on fabric under tension, exploring how surfaces react to air, pressure and movement. Suspended between resistance and release, the space echoed the same forces that shape the garments themselves.

Upon entering the venue, guests first encountered a large yacht-sail installation extending across the main floor. Drawing from the sea and the wind, it symbolically expressed the concept of tension and adaptation that lies at the core of the collection.

Guided by wooden pathways reminiscent of a seaside deck, guests moved deeper into the space, where the collection’s narrative unfolded across different areas. One room featured sheer outerwear looks, where layers of color were brought to life by the natural light, while another presented playful looks incorporating stripes and layered textures. In the basement area, images from the collection were projected onto the walls, further expressing the world of “The Way of the Sea” across the venue.

Within the two distinct levels, garments and installation entered into a shared dialogue, creating a space where movement, structure, exposure and protection could be experienced throughout the presentation. Together, they reflected TATRAS’ continued exploration of functional elegance, natural lightness and refined protection.
